This isnt sarcasm..... the source is a reliable & works for case processing in ottawa. Following week, all the those who are on strike will be given a 48 hours showcause notice to come back to work. In protest to this, everybody has stopped working...I am just writing this here in case somebody else knows the same as well....

Was this sarcasm? Cuz, how can that be...when I just saw reported cases of DEC 2012 applicants receiving MR! Even if this was a residual effect of previously processed cases, it wouldnt be for more than a few a days.

Not sure what to make of this claim... ???

PAFSO release that a tentative agreement has been reached and all strike measures abandoned!! Employees returning to work. Hope this invalidates the previous claim. ;D

When you get your PGWP, your status becomes worker.
So you can count from the date of your PGWP.

In application they ask for your work permits copy, they will count from the date printed on your permit.

the update came out yesterday in the afternoon. The full shutdown at all the embassies happened on monday afternoon. So If you brains to think about it, govt realised what messed they are into if PAFSO continues to not process anything.. So both parties reached to an agreement YESTERDAY......

-1 for the perceived attitude with which you just responded... my statement was one of celebration, not malice!! and for the record, if you had brains, you would have read my post for what it is. but thank you for your reasonable and poised response!

Isn't this is 2013 rule old rule which has PGWP
Category works different

they count from your convocation. i got rejected for this reason since i counted from my pgwp and not my convocation which resulted in me being 3 months short. anyone who tells you different is incorrect, or your taking a huge risk. its a stupid technicality.

did u apply with the old CEC rule? (when did u apply & re-apply?)

Edit: i think you applied under 2012 rule, where Educational certificates were needed for CEC applicants.

yes you are right if u applied in 2012 where they ask for your transcript but in 2013 they only ask for work permit copy to decide your
pgwp date.....nick u were just unlucky cant help...its been 11 month for me since i am waiting for rejection as i applied under old set of rules under which my exp is calculated from convocation as per my gcms notes which was generated on 29th july....sighhhhhh
