Work Experience - asking for way too much

Hi,

I just saw that CIC require letters of references from all employers within the last 10 years. This information is not easy to get, sometimes impossible (i.e. company closed down, HR department does not know my duties etc). Were you all able to provide all this information to CIC?

Hi,

I am also going through with the same situation but as far as i know and discussed with my different friends, do not temper your JD. You should submit the actual JD along with that you can attach an explanatory note stating your detail job details. But make sure your explanation should 80% similar to the category you are applying for.

So you're saying that you can attach a note further describing your duties? But the CIC only ask for the company to provide this information not the applicant.
