Hi

I am a German actor who is in touch with a Canadian agency (and has worked for a Canadian show that was shot in Europe, so probably doesn't count) and all the eligibility tests look pretty good if it weren't for the "continuous" work experience.

In this job you jump back and forth between employed phases and self-employed ones and of course there's hardly ever anything that takes more than three months. Even in those, there are free days. Does continuous mean that it really has to be five days a week or can I just add everything that I did in the last ten years? Would that only mean the actual time in the theater or on set or can I use the whole time I was blocked for other stuff and add text analysis at home and the like?

Many thanks

so as long as your experience is from either NOC 0,A or B you can apply under EE.

Simply state every job you have held, their duration and total time stated on the work contract in chronological order when listing your work experience. Considering the nature of your occupation, it should be fine. Look here, http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=5135&CST=01012011&CLV=4&MLV=4
