Hello,

I am preparing citizenship applications for my family and have a question as to Work/Education history.

Some of dates seem to overlap with each other. In situations like this, how would you arrange it? Which one comes first? The below is what I would do. Please advise me any suggestion.

2013- 09 2014-11 Education
2014-05 2014-11 Work
2014-01 2014-04 Work
2012-11 2014-04 Work
2012-09 2013-07 Work
2011-11 2012-08 Education
2011-03 2011-10 Education
2010-11 2011-02 Education

Thank you,

I will suggest you list all, education on priority, then work as the fill in for gaps; i.e. list all of them covering four year period as it is.

To support:
1) Attach education records from 2010/11 to 2012/08 and from 2013/09 to 2014/11.
2) Then fill in the gap by work records for 2012/09 to 2013/08.

This will cover full four year period month to month with no gaps and one per calendar year. To me, this seems a clear and safe approach as you were switching between jobs and schooling during the relevant residency period.

CIC instruction guide:
The education records must cover each calendar year, if applicable. It is sufficient to submit one official education document per calendar year of schooling during the relevant four (4) year period.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Further to the information set out above, would you please clarify as to the education records? As you could see, one of my family member attended two different institutions in 2011. Would you think it is okay if I submit only one transcript of those for 2011 records? (either No. 1 or No. 2) I would prefer to include No. 1 transcript as it will cover for 2011 and 2012 records.

1) 2011-11 2012-08 Education
2) 2011-03 2011-10 Education

Please share your knoweldge.

Thank you,

Hi Guys,

Whether one can do a full-time job remotely in India and attend online classes full-time in Canada ? Will it have any impact in express entry score due to overlapping ? Please advise on this.

Regards.
