I am applying for my Canadian citizenship. I started my time in Canada as a student and then became a PR. During the first few months I did a part-time job off-campus as a Contractor.
I have the pay slips and the contract signed with the company and I barely made 1k CAD in a few months. They did not give me a T4 or T4A.
My question is: does not having a tax receipt for this job create any issues? Additionally, would it raise any concerns of me working as a Contractor on student visa? I never worked more than 20 hrs/ week.
