Wording question

Dear all,

I am a Canadian citizen, and I am sponsoring my wife (we live together in her home country) for permanent residency. I am a Quebecker, and we will be moving to Montreal when her PR status is approved.

We have just checked eCAS and found that it says:

"We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on March 26, 2010.

We sent you a letter on May 19, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

I noticed that most if not all other people here also have a line that says "We started processing your application on...". Our eCAS does not have that line.

Does this mean anything?

It will show up once the local embassy starts processing your PR. Congrats with the approval. Good luck with the next stage.

You will have to wait for the letter to see what the decision is..or you can call CIC call center and find out..most of the time it will be a standard letter saying that you are approved..good luck..
