Withdrawn application, info needed

I withdrew my Application for PR because my partner and I realised we had made a mistake by applying in land. We now are going to apply from outside Canada. Hopefully that shortens the process.
My question is does anyone know if you get the application returned to you? Has anyone been in the same position and had a package returned to them??

they dont return anything.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago. My wife and I applied outland for PR but then our plans changed and we moved to Australia and went travelling. Now were almost finished were applying again.

we withdrew the old app and dont get anything back. We've just filed our new one after getting everything together again.

how long ago did you apply for police checks? your current country of residence one needs to be within 6 months and if its still elss than 6 months you can order reissues of PCC's so you wont need to apply again. Other countries, just send them an email and ask for a reprint. they normally charge like $5-10 for this.

as for medicals, you wont have done those yet as you applied inland.

all the forms are different too so youll just have to get it together again.

but youve done it once already and the second time you do one, trust me, goes a lot quicker and smoother
