Hello,
I was the recepient of an international postdoc scholarship and alongwith my family I applied for visa in January 2019. I had LMIA work permit, while my husband applied for open work permit and 3 kids for study permit. When the deadline of Scholarship expired, the Embassy asked for updated work permit and invite letter. In short, the scholarship agency refused to extend the period and I didn't get updated work permit on that basis. I infomed the Embassy about the situation and Today , I got their response like,
"Would you please advise if you wish to withdraw your application and your family’s applications as well?"
I have few queries over that
1. I had invested extensive (time &money) to apply for this visa and scholarship agency was responsible to pay all the expenses and in the present scenario this is obviously from my own pocket.
2. Is it possible that I ask them to conclude the visa for my family as that was meant for open & study permit.
3. Can I ask them to consider my application for open work permit (I know its silly and Embassy doen't operate like that)
4. I have applied for one more scholarship who was also for Canada, and if that is accepted I once again have to go through the same visa procedure if 2 &3 are rejected.
I need your sincere & ugent advice in this regards
Thank you
