And outland applicants/sponsors will make the argument that as inland couples are already together, it's not fair to make them wait to be together and that the reunification priority should mean that outland apps are processed faster. Everyone wants the policy that best benefits them. IRCC makes the choices as to what is fair.

Family members are defined by IRCC as spouse and dependent children. A sibling relationship is not to the level of spouse/children. If you make a choice to immigrate and leave siblings in your country, that is 100% your personal choice and not Canada's responsibility. It is that sibling's responsibility to meet the immigration requirements. Sibling sponsorship is most certainly not coming soon.

While I prefer sibling sponsorship over PGP sponsorship, sibling sponsorship will open a can of worms even if there was a limit of one sibling sponsorship allowed. It would not prevent a sponsored sibling from sponsoring another sibling in the future, thus can bring the whole family over to Canada over time.

They should look at positive way. When you bring siblings, siblings also bring their money in Canada. Bec personally, my family would sell everything back home, so even if one family bring 1mil $ to Canada. They r driving economy of Canada. Trust me ppl from other country, they have lot of wealth. Imagine that wealth being in Canada.

Look at USA they allow siblings sponsoring.

I am not holding my breath in seeing sibling sponsorship ever taking place in Canada. Yes US is allowing sibling sponsorship and Americans are complaining that it does not bring in skilled immigrants and that they should use Canada express visa as an example to follow. If there are job demand for them, then by all means apply for a Green Card, otherwise don't apply.

Bringing a million dollar to Canada doesn't always translate to simulating economy. A lot of parents/grandparents who are sponsored put a lot of their money into buying a house, driving up cost of houses. A house doesn't put food on the table / cover the cost of medical care. I have seen a few people living in a "poor house", all their money put in a nice expensive house with no money left to cover any basic needs, outside house related expenses. I have seen a few people who own expensive homes and yet can't afford to buy presents for their children for Christmas? I have delivered hamper groceries / presents to those who lived in very well-to-do neighborhood over the last few Christmas seasons.

While the posted processing times are the same, the reality is that outland apps are generally processed faster than that.
