Hi guys,

Need some advice. I recently applied for citizenship for me, wife and son. But then i realized i need to keep my home country citizenships for some more time.

What would be the best way to just withdraw my application without affecting the application for wife and son? Should i just wait until the oath invite and then withdraw mine?

Thanks

I take it your home country does not allow dual citizenship (because if it does then this is a moot point)?

You should be able to use the webform and explain that you are withdrawing only your application, but not those for your spouse or son.

I don't expect there's any advantage to waiting until the last possible moment to withdraw -- withdrawing earlier may at least let you get back a little bit of money (the right of citizenship fee is refundable even after they start processing, I believe, but not once a decision has been made).
