Withdrawal from Program and Study Permit status

Hi,
I was admitted to George Brown College for January 2023 intake but back at home my mother's health was not well so I had to return. My college was not ready to defer my program so I had to unfortunately withdraw but now I have been admitted again for May 2023 intake at same college in different program, I am confused about whether I need to file for new visa or I can return on my existing study permit which is valid till end of this year. Do I need to inform IRCC about my situation?
Can anyone please help?

Normally if the next start date is within the 150 days then you dont have to inform IRCC. However, i suggest you to travel a month before ur next intake with same visa and update IRCC about your new LOA once you reach there
