I have had my SDS application for around 1 and half a months now, in review only, will it help to get an application decision faster if I withdraw my application and lodge it again?

Why would it be faster? You would have to wait for withdrawal notification, reapply and then your application starts all over. Given non SDS processing is around 10 weeks, and most SDS applications take that long or more, then I would wait. Assume you are deferring so you will need a new LOA for your new application.

No, it won't be faster. If anything, it might be slower since processing will restart from scratch.
