With valid job offer with no LiMA do I need proof of funds at PR

I have a valid job offer with contract, I want to clarify, if I am called for PR via EE do I need to show funds, please note this job offer is without LIMA

Express entry explicitly mentions job offer without LMIA is not given points unless job is except the job is exempted from LMIA or there is work permit and show if funds in any case is mandatory.
