I am applying for MPNP very soon.
Is it necessary to submit the assets details while submitting the form online(at immigratemanitoba website) ??
cant we submit the assets details and proofs after submitting the application form?

Please reply asap bcoz except this i have completed whole of the form and waiting to submit.

As far i know the system will not allow you to submit your applcation f incomplete...i suggest you complete all the requirements before you submit.

i am going to the bank right now, and i want to ask if to whom shall i address the payment of my rprf?

id like to issue a bank draft and drop it in canadian embassy thru drop box.

i change my mind in using managers check, becuase they said that Managers check are for Philippine Peso and is subject to confusion because of fluctuations.

Hi ,

Do they check balance at regular intervals after applying online?? i mean can i withdraw the money from my account ,making balance less than 10000 dollars??
and what kind of proofs do we need to upload (3-6 month bank statement or just a document mentioning current balance)?

hi everyone! I received a note from my sponsor that there is a new guideline for MPNP. if the applicant has satisfied the money needed, there is no need to submit SP2.

i'm not sure if this has been implemented for those who already received the notice for SP2, but most probably apply to the new applicants.

this is great since it will cut the timeline even shorter. =)

Well, there is no such news published on www.immigratemanitoba.com............I request you to kindly discuss with your sponsor once again and please publish the link, as it would be really helpful to many others.

Actually Ive read that before, but cant find/recall where I read it? If I recall it correctly, it states that for the "new MPNP with family connection, the Sponsor should only provide a shelter and no financial help from the sponsor"..

I am from India. One of my friend from winnipeg wanna give me sponsorship for MPNP. As he will complete his one year stay in winnipeg in the month of October, 2013 and he never sponsored any one, so please help me answering my few questions.

1. Can he sponsor me as soon as he completes his one year stay in Manitoba ?

2. As he is supporting me as a Friend do he need to give his employment record and financial history details as well along with his PR Card and Health Card, or only PR Card and Health Card as mentioned on the web ?

3. If bank details are mandatory then what amount should he should have in his bank ?

--> Definitely. The requirement to become a sponsor is at least 1 yr of being Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident continually residing in Manitoba.

--> You nailed it! Yes are correct! The Minimum required DOX are: CR or PR Card or Canadian PP + M. HC -- for General Stream. But it wont hurt if he will include some other documents like those you mentioned above. Otherwise, if needed to, they will request you or your friend to provide additional DOX other than their Minimum requirement.

3. If bank details are mandatory then what amount should he should have in his bank ?

--> I havent had such info, requiring the Sponsor or supporter to provide such, however, as I have mentioned it can boost your application if he willingly do it..

Pls guys I got a mail that my permanent resident visa appears to be ready, i submitted my passport for visa collection 3weeks ago through DHL in lagios as advised by Canadian embassy in Ghana. But have not heard anything back from them since... even to acknowledge the receipt of the document. I sent them a mail no reply.
Pls anyone knows how long does it take to issue the visa through mail. I wish i had gone down myself.. i would have collected it the same day.
Pls if anyone knows how long it will take to come out.
