I a bit bothered here,
I mistakenly addressed my application to CIC.
I sent my application package via courier to :
Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
PO BOX 1450
Sydney, NS
B1P 6K5
Canada

but according to the guidelines, courier must be addressed to :
Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

and according to my friend, her application was returned because she also got the wrong CIC addressed.
she addressed her application to PO BOX 1450 via courier.

Will my application will be returned to me also?
has anyone here encountered the same experience?

Do CIC inform us that they receive our application package or we just know it through the courier? After knowing (from the courier tracking report) that CIC received our application package, all we have to do it just to wait for AOR? What does AOR stands for by the way?

I sent my CIC application last December 22 and saw it in FedEx that it was delivered yesterday Jan 2, 2014 and was signed by M.K.. Is it that the package is now with them, yes? And all I have to do now is to wait for the AOR? I have been consistently checking my inbox but got no email from CIC that they got the package; do they normally don't email this info, yes?

I hope someone can help me clarify this. Thank you so much in advance and congrats to all those who already have their visa! God bless..

It takes from 4-6 weeks before you receive an email of AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from the CIC. It is still early days, please be patient.

Hi helpers,

Please review my timeline and suggest:

Online Application Submission: October 15, 2012
Letter of Approval Dated: February 25, 2013
Last day for Application: August 25, 2013
Document sent to Nova Scotia: July 01, 2013

After that I didn't receive any kind of response (AOR) from them (nor from Manitoba, neither Nova Scotia) uptil now.

I submitted the application from Dubai on Family Sponsorship.

Please suggest something.

Guys Guide me here:

2012 - Submitted docs to MPNP
December 2012 - Received letter of approval from MPNP
April 2013 - Submitted application package to CIO, Nova Scotia (as they demanded)
I did it through lawyer, But till now i have not received any AOR or anything like this, My Family did a Speed post from Canada Itself and it showed delivered successfully, My lawyer says he has not given any email ID or anything like so where it can be noticed, how will i come to know of this

Please guide

I read your shared experience from your medical exam last month, it just make me think why you have to pay extra amount (Php 2,765) because of your extra ear piercing?

Because today, I also have extra three ear piercing (a total of 5 ear pierce including of course the two typical ear pierce for girls).

Happy New Year to you, too.

Yes, the extra payment was for some additional blood tests because of my extra ear piercing. I had 3 extra piercing apart from the normal 2 for females. They are already closed as I stopped using them but I still had to pay extra for it.
