Thanks for the prompt reply Tabz!

I thought as much from what i've read on the threads too

Do you think it may be possible to get the PNP & then my PR within a 24 month duration? 'Cos I'll have to leave after 24 months to finish university :(

I can't say really, each case is different. As you can see from the threads, no one has the exact similar timeline. And I read that inland PR takes longer processing time than outland applications.

Why don't you try applying from UK as an outland applicant? By the time you finished your studies, you might get your PR by then?
Another option is, you get your PNP approval from inland and then continue the PR process outland. I think that is possible, but you should try asking the seniors regarding this second option.

Hi Guys,

I finally have access to eCAS, thanks ramcal for the advise.

My eCAS states: application received. Is this normal at this point of the application.
I recently got my AOR last 1 November.

you can make a deposit one time, just be ready to have a very strong justification "if asked". this should have a back-up receipts or records. if you are lucky, then they might not ask this anymore. if asked, they may look for additional documents or be asked during the sponsor and applicant interview (before LOA).

for my previous experience, before giving me my LOA, they asked for two(2) things, IELTS and amount of deposited money is not enough. but they have given me at least 60days to comply, if not, they will deny my application.

thanks ramcal... God Bless

@ramcal , Yeah you are right , Lol. I do appreciate the spirit. Keep up the good work.

There aren't really any precise number how many times they will ask for your bank statement. I was asked 2x, once upon submission and second time via email. It's a case by case basis.

I keep on getting questions regarding whether a sponsor is able to sponsor multiple applicants at the same time.

We are all here to help and to share our experiences, because some of the answers cannot be found online. But we would appreciate it if a little bit of research is done before asking for the obvious.

It clearly states in the Manitoba Immigration regarding the conditions of being a sponsor:

Conditions

A Manitoba Supporter must be:

-able to provide documentation proving they reside and are economically established in Manitoba and have been living in the province continuously for at least one year (ex: copy of Manitoba Health Card)
-a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (ex: copy of Permanent Resident Card)
-able to demonstrate sufficiently close ties to the applicant and to Manitoba
-able to demonstrate that any applications they previously supported resulted in successful, permanent economic establishment in Manitoba
-able to support the applicant’s Settlement Plan
A friend or distant relative must not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program.
Note: This condition applies to your household. For example: If you are supporting an application, your spouse cannot be the supporter of another application.

Please read the source, it has the complete information.

I hope this clears the confusion to those who kept on asking about this issue.

I am outside, and strongly leaning towards SLEC. If I find an easy transportation route to SLEC I will have my MR there. Otherwise, it's easier for me to go to IOM.

I hate public transportation here in PH, so complicated and very tedious. :( :( :(

if you are staying in the province, you can have many options to follow.

first, try to look for a hotel near the clinic of your choice. you need to be fresh and free of stress during your medicals.

second, you can try to look for relatives living near the clinic so you can stay there for a night and just take a taxi going there

i first made a decision of taking my medicals in SLEC global. then, study the location map on the best option. i took the second option. We stayed in FOrt Bonifacio (where my brother in law is presently residing). Sleep very early, and woke up at around 6am to prepare. We left at around 6:30am and arrived there at 7am.

its nice to see that we are the first to arrive for Canadian applicant.
i have a friend who is also living in Laguna. They left early in the morning, just commute and ride the MRT going to IOM. they were late and arrive there at around 10:30am. they saw a lot of people already in line and finished the medicals at around 4:30pm already. what is worse was that due to stress he already had a very high BP (according to him, its his first time)! :(

so, he undergo series of testing like ECG, threadmill test before he got his cardiologist' approval.

in short, be "always" prepared :)
