Hello,

My husband and I are planning to move to Windsor later this year and are searching for apartments/houses close to the tunnel. However, I’m finding it extremely difficult to get 2 full bath apartments. Most ads that say 2 bath turn out to have 1 full & 1 half. The inventory for apartments also seems to be extremely low.

Does anyone have leads on which complexes have 2 full bath apartments?

Sorry for the late reply. 2 beds at a minimum, anything over that is fine as well. The main condition is 2 full baths. I’m just tired of looking for places. We might just have to change our move in date to fit housing availability.

Typically the best / most realistic option is to live in temporary housing (e.g. airbnb) when you first arrive and then look for a place to live in person. Inventory is low and you really need to be there in person to have a good chance of snagging what you want.

Also depends on your budget. Windsor saw a huge increase of especially new refugees because of the lower housing costs versus Toronto. This really affected the rental stock. You are also may be dealing with older buildings and houses where 1 bathroom was standard. If you are looking for 2 bathrooms you may have to move to more surburban areas.
