Will they check our my original documents at Langara college?

Hi,
I entered Canada without my original documents,
And I just saw in their email that, they have right to ask for original documents at any time of study.

I just wanted to know will the college check the original documents when you join on the orientation day?

Please let me know asap so that I can plan some alternative.
