Will they ask for the new form ? or refuse ?

i applied for Canadian immigration in April 02 and got file no in July 02.

When i applied, the immigration law was going to change.

At that time new IRPA FPRM were not came in to existence, so i filled the old form.

On 28th june the new law came into force.

Now my question is : i haven't filled the new form.

Many aspirant over net are claiming that 2002 cases are started.

As i didn't submit the IRPA FORM will they ask for the new form or refuse the file ?

Since july 2002, there is no correspondence from the embassy.

Even i obtained my CAIPS FILE, which reveals nothig has been done by them .

Has anybody got the letter for the updation of the new IRPA FORM , who applied between 1st jan to 28

june 2002?

IELTS :Going to appear in May 07.

I need to know which CHC u applied from as the timelines differ from one CHC office to the other. But I believe that they will contact u and request that u update ur application forms. I also hope that u haven't changed ur contact address ( or postal address) that u gave them initially as they will contact u via that address.

In my own case I applied in April 2002 and got my file number in July 2002. No more info from them until October 2006 that they requested that I send updated application forms and I've already done this. Since then, my waiting game has continued although based on experience of others in this forum, I've realised that I will be contacted again very soon. In any case I applied through CHC Accra and for them this timeline is absolutely normal.
