Will my full time online MBA help me applying PR?

Hello everyone,

I am doing my full-time online MBA from The University of Guelph, staying in Canada and working part time. Will I be able to use my MBA points for applying my express entry once the course is finished?

What's your status in Canada? Are you in Canada on a study permit?

yes right now I am on my study permit.

In that case you likely have a pretty big problem on your hands. How did you get the study permit originally? It couldn't have been for the online MBA since study permits aren't granted for online programs. So you must have applied for a non-online program first, received the study permit, and then switched to an online program once in Canada. Is that what you did? Since online study doesn't qualify for a study permit, it's quite possible what you're doing is a violation of your study permit and working is illegal. What is 100% certain is that you will not qualify for a PGWP. PGWP are not granted for online programs.
