Hi seniors, can I seek your kind advise on my questions below:

I submitted my post-ITA application yesterday and received AOR, but I am worried if my application will be rejected because I moved all of my spouse's working history from working history from to personal details form. As saw a lot experts advise this is a good way to disclose the information without providing the reference letters ( my spouse's reference letters are very generic reference letters and cannot provide the detail reference letter per CIC requirement that is why I moved it to persona history). In addition, I also provide a letter of explanation to CIC to explain that the reason why I moved them because my spouse's working experience are foreign working experience cannot contribute any points and doesn't have impact on my score. So under my spouse's working experience I leave it as " No". Will application be rejected due to misrepresentation?

Thank you very much for your advice!

As long as
a) it was all spouse work or if it was Canadian it didn't give you any points
And

B) you listed the work in personal history

You'll be fine.

Are you absolutely 100% cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die sure about that? :)

I have the exact same situation as ChristineYang - my wife (a dependant in my PR application) has no Canadian work experience and therefore no points were added for her work experience. It would save us a lot of time/money to avoid pinging previous employers and translating all those to English.

Yes, I'll gladly hang myself if your application gets rejected.

I plan to do the same for my wife following your advise. If my application gets rejected for that, I will gladly hang you :P

Haha, you guys are awesome!

Thanks so much DelPiero! I also read about that solution in multiple of topics across this forum - but I'm usually worried about "easy" solutions. And nothing is easier than simply removing spouse's work experience :)

You probably know this :)

Already submitted my application and left "No" in my spouse's working experience but disclose them in personal history form. Finger cross will be pass......

I did the same and I'm sure we'll be fine!

One interesting thing though - when I changed my wife's work history to "No", besides her Employment Records the optional Letter of Explanation field disappeared. Not that I have anything to explain, although I would use the opportunity to maybe point something out before submitting the final application. Any similar experiences with LoE?

Strange - it's back now when I checked again. Must be some kind of bug on their side. Nevermind. :)
