Will I get my visa on time?

Hello friends,

I completed my medical exam on the 10th and submitted my passport back to CHC on the 13th August. CHC has not sent me a deferral request yet and I'm hoping they would not. Do you think they will issue my visa (if it gets approved) in time? My college's orientation is on the 27th and I'm starting feel nervous now. The doctor asked me to contact CHC 5 days after the medical was sent. What could it be ???

If u are from Pakistan then it can take around 30 days after medical....

iA u will get it,many people on the forum got it after 10 to 15 days after medical.

Thank you for the reply momi. I'm an applicant from Sri Lanka. My friend who applied in 2010 winter got the visa within 2 weeks of applying. And he applied in the last moment too. I wonder why it has taken a longer time than before. I dont know whether to buy my ticket or not and its only getting worse from here. Just found out that all the flights from Sri Lanka to Toronto are booked until the 15th of September

We are also facing the same situation, can't decide till the visa confirmed..

Hopefully they will give an end to this suffering by responding to us soon. just keep your faith hanging in there. by the way momi, i have applied for PGC in financial services practitioner in seneca college. can i change it to PGC in financial planning at sheridan once i reach there before classes start and successfully transfer my first semester fee?
