Will i get my pr?

Hello friends, I received my provincial nominee in 2018. I applied for pr card in September 2018. I was working at a call center and that call center closed in December 2019. I was on a closed work permit. I couldn't find a job in pei as no new employer was willing to pay for compliance fee for $300 for a new closed work permit and also due to COVID-19 the job market was not good. I returned to Pakistan before my close work permit expired. My file is still under process. Do you think cic will issue me pr status?

So you have not updated your file at all. As stated on the website, If your situation changes after being invited to apply you must contact the Office with the new information; this may impact the ultimate decision on your file.

The office of immigration knows my situation. There was a big lay-off and more than 250 people lost their job at the call center I was employed. I asked pei office of immigration and they said few weeks ago my file is still nominated from the province

So you wait for a decision. Have you looked at employment in the province since that is where you will be moving to.

Yes, I am waiting for a decision. Lots of job opportunities in pei. I hope I get my pr.
