Will file transfer of application documents affect processing time?

Hello. Does anyone here know whether the transfer of application documents will affect the Study Permit application time? I have done my medical examinations a month ago, but requested for a file transfer of my documents to another Visa Office.

As far as I know the time will be counted from the new transfer.

You mean my documents will have to be re-processed all over again? Because I emailed CIC, requesting them to transfer my application files from Beijing Embassy to the High Commission of Canada in Singapore. Its been a month already and they have not responded -.- . I have done my medical examination already/

If you have completed medical exams then it will take less time.Around 30 days for Singapore but now they are taking 45days after medical.

Okay. Is there any way that I can check the status or the whereabouts of my application? Because I have written to Beijing Embassy as well, to request them to send my application documents to Singapore on 31st July 2013. (I am going to the University of Manitoba this September, but have not received my visa yet)
