Hi guys,
We have received invitation on April 12th(CRS 444). Since then we have been trying to gather all the required documents. Unfortunately, Police clearance of United States takes more than 12 weeks to process(We currently live in USA, not citizen or permanent resident). So it's almost certain that we won't be able to include US police clearance with our application by JULY 10th. In this case should we decline our invitation and wait for the next one? If we do so will it bring any negetive effect (Even though CIC says it won't)? Anyone giving an insight on this case will be appreciated. Thanks

No negative effect. You basically have to options:

1 - Decline ITA so you can get your FBI PCC
2 - If your ITA is about to expire so you can submit proof that you applied for the FBI PCC and ask to be able to submit it post eAPR submission.

No negative effect.

But If you already have the receipt that you requested the PCC, you can submit that + a letter of explanation in the Police Clearance section. IRCC knows FBI PCCs take a long time.
