If I apply for temporary or permanent residence visa for another country (lets say USA but could it could be any other country) and a denial there happens. Will it affect PR renewal or citizenship application ?

No, unless there was some serious criminality associated with the application, which seems unlikely.

technically denial itself does not have effect. But the reasons why it was denied might have. (especially in case of criminal inadmissibility or in case of misinterpretation and fraud).
In reality denial is one of those red flags that prompts them to investigate those reasons and if they are relevant for your current PR extension.
