Hi,

My husband and I got 2 separate invitations for Working Holiday at the same time. Now I’m filling information about my husband in Family information form and in that form there is a question „Will accompany you to Canada? (YES/NO)“.

At first, I thought that the answer should be "YES", because my husband got the invitation, is also filling this form and we are planning to enter Canada together.
However, now I have doubts about this field, because, as far as I understood, Working Holiday program is for individuals, not families. I’m afraid if I answer „YES“ to this question, they take back the invitation (because I’m not going alone) and if I answer „NO“, I misrepresent myself because my husband is going (hopefully).

How should I answer this question?

As the clock is obviously ticking for the application if nobody here has a quick answer try the IEC twitter feed https://mobile.twitter.com/iec_eic?lang=en-gb there is a facebook page as well but more likely an answer from the twitter feed https://www.facebook.com/International-Experience-Canada-362400293941960/ a case specific query might take too long. Personally i would probably answer yes on both forms and attach a letter of explanation to each application cross referencing each If you chose to answer no then still attach a letter of explanation to the upload page explaining your answer. Dependants/spouses do accompany on the IEC but apply for a visitor permit on arrival in which case they would likely have checked YES. But please take this as a personal not official view so try the twitter feed.
