Will a work visa expires if we are not traveling to Canada in 3 months

Hello ,

I have work visa for 2 years. Now it is 4 months passed after the stamping in my passport. Due to personal reason i was not able to travel to Canada (Alberta)

Will my visa get expires if I am not traveling in 4 or5 months? I also have 3 dependents w(and 2 kids) who will be travelling along with me.

Yes you can certainly run into issues if you no longer have a job waiting for you in Alberta. The employer may have notified IRCC that you did not come to work or you may run into problem when you land in Canada if you have no proof that you have a job waiting for you. You could be sent home.

Why are you trying to enter Canada almost a year after you got a work permit? Receiving many services are attached to proof of employment.
