Will a 1 year Diploma from Humber in Software compensate for a low GPA for admission in MS CompSci?

Howdy,
I have a low CGPA (6.25/10) Indian system. I have one year work ex working as a software developer and 320 in GRE. Ive been told this profile is too weak for an admission into MS CS in Canadian Uni. Will a 1 year Diploma in Enterprise Software from Humber boost my profile enough to secure an admission in a MS program? Or would it be a waste of time?

Would unlikely to count although you should verify with the school.
