wife sponsorship evaluation - income problem

Just wondering as I have only been working for a month in Canada would I be able to obtain an option c form from the Canada revenue agency, I havnt submitted any tax returns obviously. so would i just provide this explaination and also it requires the last 12 months income details so would I provide my income from the UK ?
any help would be great

You would have to submit explaination why you couldn't produce option C since you haven't been filing canada taxes. In my case I was able to produce my option C on account that I have been filing Canada taxes as a non-resident while living in the US. This allowed me to produce option C printout.

As for proof of income for prior 12 months to application, I included my US paystubs along with the table converting my US salary to CAD equivilant. So I would submit your copies of paystub or british income tax form showing your income in britain and show the CAD conversion from pounds to CAD.

My sponsor (Canadian, working in the UK for many years) had no Canadian tax history and so submitted the HM Customs and Revenue notice of assessment for the last tax year in lieu of an option C printout. The sponsorship was granted without objection.

Ahh I see, yeah that would take a while to get to me from the UK the tax office takes way too long to do anything there. Also the uk tax year finnishes in april so it wouldnt be a full year or anything. would it be alright to work out through my bank statements and provide the information that way possibly. I left my tax stuff with family in the UK but I have payslips and my bank statements that i could print out, allthough i was unemployed for 6 months out of the last 12 so there wouldnt be that much in the first place ?
