Dear members,

Me and my wife have been in Canada for last one year. I am working part time and my wife is not working right now. We come under low income status. Now my wife is pregnant and is due in end of April. She wants to sponsor her mother, father and grandmother(maternal) for her help after the delivery.

I don't know the procedure to sponsor them. Please Help!!!

Regards,
Chia

Here is information on the Parent's/Grandparent's Supervisa:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp

Please be advise there is an income requirement you must meet. Your parents or grandparents are also required to have their own medical insurance while visiting Canada.

If you don't meet the income requirement, your parents or grandparents can attempt to obtain a regular visitor's visa (TRV) showing proof of their own income and funds. Depending on their home country, this can be very difficult to get.

Chia,

As Amikety rightly said, super visa will be expensive as you have to pay for insurance for the grandparents. Since you say you are in low-income status, unless the grandparents show enough funds available with them, the VO may not grant the visa.

Anyways, good luck to you
