why they ask about copy of biopage of passport, height and eye color

Hi,
I received the following text from Canada Immigration,

" This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to
continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
 1108565219 - Yasir Hameed:
 > Height (in CM) and eye color details . This information is required for
yourself and each of your dependants. This must be received at this office by:
2018/10/11
>  Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a copy of the biopage of your
passport along with those of your dependents. This must be received at this office by:
2018/10/11"

My questions are,
Is this a sign that after submitting these detail they will proceed to PPR stage?

Is this a sign that they just started to look into my case?

If it is one step to PPR then how long will it take to get PPR?

Hello Yasir,

I got the same exact letter but there is no mentioned of height in (CM) just the height and color of eye is required along with passport copy. Can you please guide me what sort of document did you furnish against this request ? I have made a simple professional response letter in pdf mentioning both the details, would this suffice?
