This reply is using it. I like it. There is truly no ads using it without disabling JavaScript and have all the features. That's great. I also like how you can choose if you want ads for a specific time like 1h 2hs ... for some digital money which you can use later and elsewhere. This can be a model for solving this free vs. ads stuff. But this is for another discussion elsewhere. Thanks for pointing it outThis browser automatically blocks ads from all the websites and the browser performance is also good. So I hope you will love it.
You are forgeting that canada visa forum is free.
They have expenses for servers, maintanence, etc.
Are you willing to pay not to see ads
Example Spotify free vs paid, youtube free vs Youtube paid
This forum helped me and my feiends many many many times and i do not mind scrol through ads if that helps them
Exactly!!! People take stuff for granted as if its their birthright
If you are using Chrome, go to Settings -> Site Settings -> JavaScript.
You can also use search box in Settings tab to find this option.
Most likely you will see JavaScript set as "Allowed" and you can leave it as-is.
Down below you will see another section where you can selectively block websites to run Javascript. Thats where you can put www.canadavisa.com and thats about it, you wont have JavaScript running on this website and thereby no Ads for you.
Hope this works for you.
This works 1000%.. thanks for sharing this
I still prefer disabling JavaScript option more.
I need more analysis before deciding to switch my browser choice from Chrome (Google product) to Brave (much lesser known platform). I wont feel that safe on such a less known browser from Data privacy and protection concerns per se.
The biggest problem of Brave is open source. Nobody stands behind it and nobody is responsible if it goes wrong
Brave browser in particular has hundreds of regular contributors. Open source software also underpins virtually every tech sector you can think of because it's not owned by one entity and it's completely transparent. If "open source" is the only reason you don't trust a software, then you may as well stop using your computer entirely, because everything you do on your computer most likely has some open source element to it.The biggest problem of Brave is open source. I don’t believe for a second that you have studied computer science, or work in this field, because if you did you would know that every web server is open source, that the operating systems those servers run on are open source, that your web browser is open source (yes chromium is open source), the databases your personal data is stored on are likely open source, the encryption on your data and communications is open source, that the video games you play likely have some elements that are, yep you guessed it, open source. How can these most influential technologies and companies in the entire world all be wrong? They should really get forums poster anton1990 on the case to sort it out for them.Hi
I studied Computer Science and work in this field. We learned a lot about open source.
If you read my post, I mentiomed that who will be responsible if something goes wrong with Brave ( information stolen, hacked, etc. )
Yes google collects information on all of us but they do it properly and they give something back
Your comparison with computer has no to much sense. Are you talking about capasitor or resistor? LOL Maybe Intel CPUs have open source components?
If you close your browser you will probably find Microsoft Office icons on your desktop, why not Libra or Open Office?
