Have you sent them an email asking the status of your file? Most people don't get a specific answer to the eamil, but many believe that an inquiry (especially late in the process like yours) can bring attention to the file, and prompt some action. It is certainly worth a try???

Hope you will be in Canada soon!

as you have a one year ban from Canada ending on the 26th of January if I recall correctly, I doubt that there will be movement on your file before that date, as the VO is aware that you can not travel before anyway.... so you can contact them, but I think the best is to wait until next week once the one-year ban is over... I know it feels long to wait and wait and not be able to book a ticket, etc, but you're almost done.

waiting less than 1 year is not a long time. You need to be patient
