Why is a new supporting document requested in PGWP?

Hello,


I've applied for PGWP after 90 days of my graduation however applied on my last day of study visa expiring. Technical I've applied for PGWP while I had Study visa.

Now that I've applied online, I see a new supporting document requested. Such as "Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257) (required)".


Does this mean that I should apply for restoration visa online? Can I do that by myself?

I've already visited a lawyer who has hardly helped. Please advise.
