why does ecas say in process 2 weeks after a refusal??? whats going on??

my wifes application was rejected by the visa officer after an interview
she said she did not believe our marriage is genuine even though it really is.. and I was questioned about a relatives case from several years prior
ecas said application received for the whole time and it was updating regularly with the medical received and interview date written on it
and the 3 days after the refusal letter was dated it changed to in process??

I sent the CIC visa office in sydney australia 3 letters regarding a re-consideration 2 to the enquiry and 1 to the case specific
and I also sent CIC in canada some documents and a message on why I believed it was a wrongful refusal
and im also planning to file an appeal with my lawyer and use my enquiry emails as evidence along with other proof I have

The visa office is in sydney australia and my wife is from Fiji... I am a canadian citizen born

but why would the ecas say in process 3 days after a denial had been made it doesnt make sense
unless something fishy is going on?? Any thoughts or explainations would be appreciated

It is possible that at the time of interview, the officer concerned, did not believe that the relationship was genuine. However, this alone does not determine that the case is refused. In cases where applications are headed for a refusal, CIC gives more scrutiny to the application to ensure that their decisions were based rationally and not on a mistake on their part. Hence the status shows in-process. Its when the status states "Decision Made", and a written document is sent to you - whether the application was accepted or denied - which determines the actual status. You can appeal only after you receive such a letter.

Zayne i am reading your previsou comments, that you told us onOctober 25 that your wifes interview wnet well, and today you told that they refused here visa, how long aftre the interveiw you heard that you guys are refuse,. did the consultant who interview your wife told that she passed the interview .
