Today I got my second refusal letter from CIC, for this time one of the refusal reasons they mentioned is "Purpose of Visit" and I applied for study visa, can someone tell me what does this objection means? I applied on Sep 28th 2016 and got the rejection today at 19th October 2016.

This means that the VO is not convinced about your intent to study. I would suggest to do the following:

  • show adequate ties to your home country such as real estate properties;
  • review and build a stronger SOP stating your plans including your post-study plans;
  • include all financial assets

This list is not exhaustive; the more proof you have to show, the better.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your next application.

Thanks for replying.

1. Travel History ( I never went anywhere )
2. Family ties in Canada and in Country of residence
3. Purpose of Visit
