In the original application pack which goes to CIO, we are asked to provide payment to cover the processing. However, in the document checklist for the Visa specific office (Sydney, Australia in my case), it also says to enclose fee payment. Why do you think they would put it in? Surely people send payment when they send their initial documents to CIO?

That I have noticed too and even I don't understand why they ask for fee twice.

I think you need to attach the proof of payment (draft/cheque) you have enclosed while you sent your application to CIO Nova Scotia....a photocopy of the document should be fine.

Seniors please shed some light on this.

Look at publication date its 08-2008
Don,t need to pay twice

I was also confused about this and I think it is a good idea to provide proof of payment on the second set that gets sent to Buffalo.

This is pretty useful information though its for CIC Sydney - Australia. Rulese are same for other Canadian Visa posts worldwide so it's still good.

Thanks S.K.
