I just got my PPR today. I am just wondering why my UCI from my AOR and my PPR is different. is this normal?

the first UCI you got from the AOR and the sponsor approval is for the sponsor, and the second one (from any communication from the VO) is the one for the applicant. THat might be the reason.

The UCI on your AOR from the Canadian Visa office (the AOR you got when you FIRST sent your file for SPONSOR approval) can be different as this is your SPONSOR'S UCI number, not yours.

However, your UCI number that was on your stage 2 APPLICANT AOR from your actual visa office abroad should be the same as the UCI number on your PPR, because both of those are directed to the APPLICANT.

Are you sure the UCI number changed and you're not just seeing a file number or something.. sometimes there are quite a few numbers.. but your APPLICANT UCI should stay the same.

I believe thats the reason too.

I didn't get an AOR on the stage 2.

thanks sweden for the quick response. Is it possible to request that i personally get my COPR/visa from the canadian embassy-Manila? if so, what should i put on the "address where you want your passport to be delivered" portion in the Appendix A?

I am not sure when the visa will be ready, and i don't know if I'll be out of town on that day.

Then you never got your actual UCI number, which would have been listed on this stage 2 AOR. So the new "changed" UCI is your actual UCI.
