Who send their medical in June /July/August ... waiting for passport request

we sent RPRF to Los Angeles consulate, it reached them 10.30AM Nov.19, Friday... I will probably send an email to them in the next few days, just to make sure it was placed in our file and not misplaced.

praying for some news this Tuesday. Any kind of movement will do, at least I'll know they're looking at our file and it's not just collecting dust in one dark file storage room ;D

i sent my RPRF this friday..it will reach to detroit on monday...i wish the send me a ppr request next week..

if you used a courier or USPS, they usually have tracking numbers that you can use to check if the RPRF has been delivered to the consulate. but i imagine they receive numerous items in the mail each day and it might need to be sorted out first before it reaches the IO assigned to our case.

my plan is to wait if there is an update on Tuesday. If there is none, I will send an email to the consulate to ask if they received the RPRF and if it has been included in my file. I would not want it to get lost, so I'm hoping they will understand that concern and will respond and confirm receipt of the RPRF.

hey ruby ,,u have any idea ,,first they wait for the bank draft to be encashed..then they take the next step,,because the bank take 2 weeks to clear it,,,u have any idea,,or any views about detroit embassy?????

by the way, it takes 2 weeks to clear a money order or bank draft? i thought 5 days only...

Hello all friends,
finally some update to my application but not yet received the PPR..

today I received the letter and saying that :

Buffalo has completed the initial assessment of our application, and expect to finalize the application without a personal interview.
and no additional documents are required at this time.
we have already paid the RPRF..

anyone can tell me, what is the meaning of this notification? as I see some people will immediately get the PPR after medical check..

just click on PROFILE, upper right of the webpage.

on the PROFILE page, click on FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION on the left side.

just scroll down and you can fill up the webform, once you save your timeline can be viewed under your screen name when post anything.

so, i sent a case specific enquiry this morning as planned and this is the reply I got.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

The status of your case is as indicated below:

Your application is still active and under review. We have received your payment for right of permanent resident fees. There are no other documents required at this time.
Please do not contact us for another status request until we completed the review of your application. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this mater. Please quote your file number in all correspondence.

They really highlighted that sentence in bold letters! LOL ;D
