While a visitor, is it illegal to babysit or do non-paid work ?

I went through this and the rules are pretty easy:
You can only volunteer where everybody is a volunteer, for example a cat shelter, a homeless shelter, etc.
You can also go on a farm for wwoofing where you work and get "paid" with accommodation and meals, not money.
