Hi guys, I got my PPR for my pr application and I applied inland from Canada but for some reasons I had to come back to my country and leave Canada without a valid visa to go back.
Anyways I got my PR application approved and I submit webform to let them know I'm not in canada right now and 3 weeks later a new ppr request letter was now sent from Mexico. After reading instructions, I called VFS in Mexico and was told they do not send passport back to my country and I have to pay at a Mexican bank (I can't travel there!). (ALSO WHY I was direct to VAC Mexico if they dont support outside of Mexico??) Then I noted that the request letter did not explicitly say which VAC and only said "send to nearest" VAC and in the list of option is USA. I chatted with a vfs officer and was told that if it's not specifically said where in my letter I can send to them. Note that prior, I was given different answer from vfs chat officers to diff questions so I don't really have all that trust in them... I just want to make sure if anyone would have similar situation??? Because I waited 3 weeks for IRCC to tell me to wait for the VO in Mexico to reply to my email with the instructions but now I could actually send my passport to elsewhere???
