Which is the better option in terms of co-ops, job opportunities, reputation and course work? Macleans 2020 rankings listed Manitoba at #16 whereas Dalhousie isn't listed in the top 20 list. [ https://www.macleans.ca/education/canadas-best-university-programs-in-computer-science-rankings-2020/ ]

But the ranking is heavily based on citations and publications which aren't that relevant for an undergraduate degree as they are for Masters and PhD. In Macleans 2018 Dalhousie appears to have a better program and research reputation [https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.macleans.ca/education/best-computer-science-universities-in-canada-2018-ranking/amp/]

So, which one is better for undergraduate studies [CS]?

Well, you have kind of answered you own question. Do you want to go to Dalhousie which (may) have a better program but a less known name or go to Manitoba which is a better name but (may) not have a good of a program?

What is your goal? Research (phD) or Employment (Network+Name)

Consider this and choose your school, GL

Don’t think either are co-op programs but haven’t looked recently. At an undergraduate level would anticipate they will be quite similar.
