Okay so my husband (canadian) and i (american) have two options
1. Turn in application outland in June (i am currently in the us, working) and i come to live with him in September. I cannot work until next June BUT i will have permanent residency in June 2018.
OR
2. Turn in application INLAND in September when i come go live with him, get a work permit in January/ February and then I can work starting in February BUT i wont have permanent residency until September 2018, but the date of which I get permanent residency doesnt even matter TOO much because I will be able to live with him using an open work permit.
I guess my question is- what option seems the best? Also, what are my chances of being accepted for an open work permit when applying under family class? Because it seems like everything is rotating around whether or not i can work in Canada while im waiting for my PR application to be processed.
Thanks!
