Hello all,

I'm almost done filling out my online TRV (Yay!) and I've been going through the forum and seeing people discuss different office wait times. I'm just wondering how one knows which office to send your PP to? From what I understand, once I send in my online application, I will receive an email upon approval of my visa asking for my PP. Will I be told in the email which location to send it to?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything or that I don't have to select a location on the online application.

Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated!

if you do not select currecnt country of residence, ther's no way you can submit your appl.

and based on your residence it will be determined which VO will handle, this is what I am understanding.

can some one has any different thoughts?

Hi,

I have also same questions !!

I applied online and Hopefully , i will get a pp request by next week. . However, I am not sure where to send the passport.

Can i send it to either LA or NYC consulate?
How did you know to send yours to LA ??

please reply asap, it will be appreciated.

Also,Mailing Service : Which carrier service is best option : -- USPS Priority mail / USPS Express mail / USPS First-Class.

Any Suggestion please ??

Thank you :)

I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully, someone will be kind enough to help us out :).

P.S: The strike alert on the Canadian Embassy website is not helping with the frustration/anxiety :-X

I have applied online for a TRV om June 2nd. But unfortunately did not receive my PPR. But applied for my husband on June 5th his visa is already stamped. I was just taking a Alaska Cruise on July 27th. About to loose a lot of money. :'(

Hi Zainy,

You can send it to either of the offices. Historically, LA is faster in processing.

Coming to the carrier options, it depends on how urgent you want your passport delivered. When you send to the consulate it doesn't really matter, but your return envelope should be flat rate. I've used 19.95$ express mail..

Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
