Hi All,

I am hoping you can help me out with which code my profile should be

I have 6 year experience as an auditor 2008 - 2014 (experienced gained in my birth country)- this will be in NOC code 1111, and the experience will also allow me to gain point for 3 years foreign experience.

in 2014 i moved to another country and became an Internal Audit Manager, to present i have accumulated 2 year 5 months experience - This job is in NOC code 0111. If i use this one i will only able to gain points for 2 years foreign experience.

I saw someone posted that they got rejected because their NOC code was not the same as their recent job and now i am confused.

Can someone please shed some light in this area.

Thanks.

How many CRS points do you end up with using your recent 2 yrs work exp. ?
If you get more than 460, then you are positioned pretty well in the pool.

I still need to finish my language test i am only at 402 right now i have to redo my language test. As my profile will be expiring soon i will have to recreate one and i would like to know which one will be better.

I would gain more points with the 3 years expeiences

Kindly finish up with your language test and then evaluate. Your NOC code also depends on the field in which you want to work in Canada - i.e. choosing either of the two NOC codes in which intend to work.
If all that matters to you is to score max CRS points, then select the NOC code with 3 years work exp.
