Which IELTS will be used

Hi

Today was my brother's IELTS test. To acheive reasonable score of 446 He needs 8 in listening whixh he think will not get after todays test. His result is on 12th. Next reault date is 13th. If he deposits the fee for 13th and by some miracle he gets 8 in listening on 12th. Can he use that score? Or he has to attempt 13th test as he has already deposited the fee.

It doesn't matter , he can use any result that will increase his points, as long as the test results are valid(The validity is 2 years from the test date). CIC doesn't know how many times your brother took the test and does not care as long as it is General Training and Valid.

It's your choice to choose which test you want to be considered for, and CIC will be OK with that. However, if you submit more than 1 Valid IELTS Test Reports to CIC, they will consider the report which gives you highest scores.
