Hello,

I have a cousin who wants to apply for immigration to Canada with his family. He's a regular worker in his country and has no diploma. I know his chances are slim to get accepted, but I need to know which form does he need to fill out? Not the family sponsorship, not skilled workers, which one?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

No one here can answer your question.

Your cousin or you need to do research to determine if he qualifies for any immigration program and if so, which one. You can find information about Canada's immigration programs here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

If he does not qualify under skilled worker, then I would recommend you look at the Federal Skilled Trades immigration stream and also the Provincial Nomination programs.

Thanks for the reply.

I was on that page for days and saw every application, tried calling them, always a high volume of calls.

The fact is, I know he doesn't qualify. But a couple of his friends (who he lost contact with) applied as a family and the parents had 0 education and 4 years later, luck was on their side and got approved.

I don't know if there is a general form to apply.

There is no general form. You have to apply under a specific program.

Don't bother calling the help desk - they do not give advice and will not help you to determine which program to apply under. If you're looking for that level of advice - you will need to hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to assist you.

That is not the way it works. They would have had to apply under a specific immigration stream, you can't just apply in general to immigrate to Canada. There is lots of this story that is being left out.
