Which English Language Test should i take ?

I am willing to apply for a master's program in canada(Engineering/IT). Which english language test is widely accepted, I know that both IELTS and TOEFL are accepted by universities, but I want to know which one is better, I don't want to mess with both of them

If you are applying for Canadian universities, IELTS is fine, no problem. I took IELTS and found no problem in applying for Engineering programs.

So, from Pakistan, IELTS is just fine. May be someone who has taken TOEFL can comment on their service.

Go for IELTS and get overall at least 6.5 not any less than 6.0 . Hope it helps.

If your plan includes both US and Canada please go for TOFEL. Else IELTS is the best, accepted across All univ/Colleges in Canada.
