I am from Hong Kong and now visiting my boyfriend in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am now considering to relocate here but not sure what choices I have to be able to immigrate here??!!

I am a certified accountant in Hong Kong (with designation of FCCA and CPA-Hong Kong) and also got my MBA from the University of Hawaii. I have been working in accounting field in insurance companies in Hong Kong for 14 years.

Choice 1: Skilled workers
I have gone through the lists of skilled workers but accountants are currently not on the list, so I assume this is not a choice?

Choice 2: PNP of Nova Scotia
I know the Nova Scotia has a Province Nomination Program, but need to have an employer willing to employ me before I can apply for this. However, I have a hard time to find an employer willing to employ me since I am not legally able to work here (no working permit until I have an employment), what can I do?

Choice 3: Spouse sponsorship
I can get marry to my boyfriend and he sponsor me as a spouse. Yet, my boyfriend does not have any income for the time being though he is willing to be the sponsor if we get married. Will this be a problem? What if I have enough assets/equity to support myself for those 3 years requirement, will this work out??

I really do not know what I should do now :( ... which choice should I choose to progress in order to be able to immigrate to Canada?? Hope someone can give me some good advice.

Option #3 is probably best. Your boyfriend can sponsor you as long as he isn't on social assistance (welfare) or bankrupt.

Thanks scylla for replying..

he isn't on social assistance (welfare) or bankrupt now, but does he need to show prove to the immigration that he has sufficient funding to support me as a sponsor??
